Agent development has specialized skills (Atlas reasoning patterns, MCP integration, Trust Layer configuration). Small ISVs lack these in-house. The partner network provides on-demand expertise without ISV hiring.
Who Qualifies
Salesforce vets partners for technical skill and Agentforce expertise. Current network is relatively small. Partners range from boutique AI consultancies to specialist firms. Salesforce likely expands as agent building scales.
When to Engage
Starting a new agent product. Hitting technical walls in existing agent. Compliance or architecture review before launch. Don’t engage for generic Salesforce work — the network is agent-specialized.
