What Changes
Traditional AppExchange install was ‘install package, configure, wire integrations.’ Agents compress this because the platform handles configuration. User supplies credentials and access policy; everything else auto-configures.
Governance Considerations
One-click activation can bypass review if admins aren’t careful. Set policy: some agents auto-activate for users, some require admin approval. Prevent shadow-agent proliferation.
Rollback
Agents activated easily should deactivate easily. Uninstall, revoke access, clean up. Verify rollback paths before widespread activation — always easier to prevent bad agents than remove stubborn ones.
