What Data Sync Does
Two-way sync between HubSpot and external apps (Salesforce, Zoho, Outreach, etc.). 100+ connectors. Part of Operations Hub.
Field Mapping
Explicit mapping per field. Skip fields you don’t want to sync. Don’t auto-map everything — some fields belong on one side only.
Conflict Resolution
When both sides update the same record, last-write-wins by default. Change direction: HubSpot-to-external, external-to-HubSpot, or bidirectional.
Historical Sync
Initial historical sync pulls all existing data. Filters reduce scope. Run historical in a test portal first — you may sync data you don’t want.
Monitoring
Data Sync health page shows sync counts, errors, field-level issues. Check weekly. Failed records don’t block sync but indicate problems.
