Agents built in Copilot Studio can connect to MCP servers, including external ones. Multi-vendor agent coordination — Microsoft agents calling Salesforce MCP endpoints, for example — becomes viable.
Dynamics 365 Coupling
Tighter integration with D365 entities. Agents have richer context from Dataverse, surface better in Power Apps, handle D365-specific workflows natively.
Governance
Central admin controls for agent deployment, usage monitoring, data access policies. Enterprise controls catch up with Microsoft’s rest-of-platform governance model.
